A Free, Online, One-on-one Tutoring program

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens after I sign up?

After signing up, we will pair your child with one of our tutors. The tutor will directly reach out to you through both text message and email, giving possible times they are able to meet.

What if I no longer need tutoring before the end of 10 weeks?

Please let us and your tutor know immediately. If you stop responding to the tutor without letting them know, it may create problems.

Who is tutoring my child?

An academically driven and community oriented high schooler from the Ventura County or Los Angeles area will be paired with your child to tutor them one-on-one, weekly for about 10 weeks.

What if the tutor stops responding?

First, make sure you have sent multiple reminders to them. If they still do not respond, email us! If we are unable to resolve the issue, we will try our best to give you a new tutor.

How does the tutoring work?

You and the tutor will discuss over text or email good times to meet. Tutoring sessions occur through online platforms, generally Zoom or FaceTime. Tutors will assist with homework, teach concepts, and use online tools to help your child succeed in class. Its a good idea to listen in on the tutoring sessions and give the tutor (and us!) feedback. Please note that the tutor will make your child take two short tests before and after tutoring to help us gauge their improvement.
